KHSC has set up an online booking tool through a third-party website called Eventbrite. Please go to https://ygkCOVIDTesting.Eventbrite.ca to book your appointment if you meet the testing criteria.

To use the COVID-19 Pre-screening tool, click here.

You can do your COVID-19 screening for your upcoming outpatient appointment online with the mobile screening tool.

The mobile screening tool, available in English and French, only takes a few minutes to complete and patients will receive an email with confirmation to bring with them, along with their appointment slip, to the hospital in printed form or on their mobile device.

Screening staff will validate the confirmation at entry and you will be able to go directly to your appointment.

Visitor and family presence restrictions

We are temporarily limiting all visitors in order to keep our site safe during COVID-19. We are offering enhanced electronic options for staying connected with your loved ones during this time.

Accessing our hospital sites

Patients and essential support persons must use the main entrances at the HDH site and KGH site.

Screening at KHSC

Be prepared to answer questions about travel history and symptoms when you come to our hospitals.

Required use of masks and face coverings

Patients and essential visitors coming for an outpatient clinic/procedure appointment or visit must wear a mask or face covering. We ask that you to bring your own masks/face covering whenever possible. Otherwise, we will provide you with a mask at the screening station.

Emergency care during COVID-19 pandemic

Emergency and urgent health concerns that are not related to COVID-19 still need to be addressed during the pandemic. It is important that people seek care for problems that could become quite serious or life-threatening if left unattended.  Patients can be reassured that our Urgent Care Centre at the HDH site and Emergency Department at the KGH site are safe places to seek care.

Appointments and Services

We are reducing some appointments and services during the pandemic.
