Amit has over 17 years of international leadership experience in financial, business development and operational roles in the private and public sectors.

Amit is the Chief Financial Officer at KHSC. In this role, he leads a broad portfolio that includes financial planning & analysis, financial reporting, tax, AP/AR, physician billing, governance and ministry reporting, procurement, retail, environmental and transportations services, decision support, material management, and business development; he develops and implements fiscal strategy ensures KHSC’s good stewardship of resources and that will effectively support all day-to-day operations while positioning KHSC to build a world-class academic health sciences centre.

Amit has previously worked as a vice president and chief financial officer with large healthcare systems in Australia. He played an important leadership role with the Iowa Primary Care Association in the United States.
