Family presence restrictions in place
During the COVID-19 pandemic it is crucial that we keep our patients, staff and hospital environment safe. We are limiting family presence in our hospital during the pandemic until further notice. This includes people accompanying patients to appointments. We understand this is difficult, but it is essential for the safety of everyone within our hospital sites, including our vulnerable patients and essential frontline staff. Pets: We are not permitting pets into the hospital while COVID-19 family presence restrictions are in place. The exception is registered service dogs that are required to ensure a patient's accessibility to care.
Respect and Privacy
Kingston Health Sciences Centre values respect and privacy and we work to ensure that our patients, families, visitors, staff, physicians, learners and volunteers are treated with care. Please respect everyone's right to privacy while they are in either of our hospital sites.
Abusive, aggressive or violent behavior will not be tolerated. We thank you for your consideration and cooperation in making KHSC a safe place to be.
