Our urogynecology team helps patients with bladder, bowel, and pelvic floor problems. These issues can include leaking urine, pelvic pain, or prolapse. Our physicians are specially trained to diagnose and treat these conditions to improve comfort, health, and quality of life.

Please arrive with a full bladder and hold it if possible until your appointment.
- Please remember to bring:
- your appointment slip which includes the time and date of your appointment.
- your health card
- a complete, current list of your medications provided to you by your pharmacist OR all current medications in their original drugstore container (includes insulin, inhalers, prescribed creams or eye drops, non-prescription medications or supplements such as herbals and vitamins)
- If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please cancel as soon as possible so we can offer the appointment to another patient on our waiting list.
What you can expect
- New patient appointments may take 60 minutes or longer.
- Patients meet with a specialist who listens to their symptoms and health concerns. The doctor may ask questions about bladder, bowel, and pelvic health and perform an exam if needed. Some patients may have simple tests to help find the cause of their symptoms.
- The clinic team will explain treatment options and create a care plan to help improve comfort and daily life.
- KHSC is a teaching hospital, there may be student nurses or doctors involved in your care.
