AccessMHA

AccessMHA is a service that provides a single point of entry to Eastern Ontario’s system of care for adult (16+ years old) mental health and addictions services.  It is a collaborative effort between healthcare and community services, primary care and individuals with lived expertise that provides a coordinated point of access. To submit a referral through AccessMHA:

  1. Fill out a form at AccessMHA.ca
  2. A mental health and addictions professional will work with you to assess your needs and connect you to the right services within our health care network.

Detoxification Centre

Self-referrals and referrals from a healthcare provider are accepted for the Detoxification Centre. For further information, please call the 24-hour telephone line at 613-549-6461.

Eating Disorders Programs

Referrals for all eating disorders programs, including the Eating Disorders Day Treatment Program and Child and Youth Eating Disorders Program.

Referrals are accepted from physicians and nurse practitioners. Please include a completed referral form, recent blood work and an ECG.

Direct referral forms

A patients or primary care providers can submit a direct referral, instead of using AccessMHA.  Please note that, effective April 1, 2025, we will no longer accept direct referrals and all referrals must be made through AccessMHA.
