Compensation and benefits

At Kingston Health Sciences Centre we offer competitive salaries and a range of benefits that support the needs of our employees.

Many KHSC employees are represented by collective agreements that are centrally bargained with the province of Ontario. These include agreements with the Ontario Nurses Association (ONA), the Ontario Public Service Employee Union (OPSEU), the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and the Professional Institute of Public Service of Canada (PIPSC).

For our non-union staff, our compensation philosophy is to set our rates to match the 50th percentile of teaching hospitals and large community hospitals with a budget of greater than $100 Million
