Kevin Snedden
Kevin and his wife have called Kingston home for the last 30 years and have raised a son and daughter here.
He holds a degree in Sociology from Queen’s University, and a diploma in Law & Security Administration from Georgian College.
Kevin joined the federal public service with the Correctional Service of Canada in 1995. He was appointed as the Correctional Service of Canada’s (CSC) Regional Deputy Commissioner of the Ontario & Nunavut Region on June 1, 2020.
Over the last 29 years Kevin has held a variety of operational and executive positions of increasing responsibility, gaining a deep understanding of the operation of complex organizations. He has demonstrated his leadership across a wide range of portfolios spanning local, regional, and national issues within CSC.
Kevin is also an active member of his local community, sitting as a member of the Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox, and Addington United Way Board of Directors, and volunteering annually with Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign. He has also previously volunteered as a coach for local youth sports.
