Dr. Parham Daneshvar
Dr. Parham Daneshvar is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery with a special interest in rheumatoid arthritis, and peripheral nerve pathologies. He started a full time practice at Kingston Health Science Centre in 2020 and is an Associate Professor at Queen’s University, Department of Surgery. He jointed the Medical Staff Association Executive team in 2021.
He earned his undergraduate degree in the Sciences from the University of Waterloo, Canada, in 2002. He subsequently obtained his medical degree from the University of Ottawa in 2007, where he also completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery in 2012. He then pursued a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Roth/McFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Centre in London, Ontario. Following his fellowship, he served as a staff hand and upper extremity surgeon at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, for seven years.
Dr. Daneshvar is a dedicated educator who has been actively involved in training orthopaedic residents and fellows specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery since 2013. He is also committed to humanitarian work, pursuing his passion for delivering high-quality orthopaedic care in developing countries.
