Dr. Fitzpatrick, responsibilities oversight EVP of Medical Affairs & Chief of Staff will add to his for all Ambulatory Care, along with Pharmacy. This will brings together the synergistic goals of enhancing innovation and virtual care, particularly in the context of improving access. His operational team will continue to include Medical Affairs (Chris Gillies).
Dr. Michael Fitzpatrick is a graduate of University College Dublin, Ireland. His postgraduate clinical and research training was completed at University College Dublin and at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. He is a Royal College certified specialist in internal medicine and respirology, and an American Board-certified sleep specialist.
Dr. Fitzpatrick is a Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Biomedical and Molecular Sciences at Queen’s University. His research interests are in upper airway physiology and in the diagnostic and management pathways for obstructive sleep apnea.
He is previous Chair of the Division of Respirology at Queen’s University.
