Beginning on Tuesday January 3rd, 2017, the laneway that leads to the Kingston General Hospital’s Armstrong wing entrance off Lower University Avenue will be closed to vehicles as the hospital replaces its oxygen system. This important work will increase the capacity of our oxygen system, allowing us to continue to meet the growing needs of our patients.

The Armstrong entrance doors will remain open to pedestrians while the work is completed. Vehicles that are dropping off or picking up patients and visitors are asked to use the main Kidd/Davies entrance located off of Stuart Street instead. Signage will be put in place to help direct traffic.

The laneway is expected to re-open to regular traffic in early February.
