New art brightens up the hospital's main hall

One of our main hallways has a bold new look, thanks to the 11 original pieces of art now lining the corridor. The paintings are all by local artist Tim De Rose and they will be on display in the Kidd 1 hallway until October 20.
Each piece is a bold and colourful representation of trees and forests and each artwork is also for sale.
This art show is also a glimpse of things to come. Now that the busy hallway has new lighting and an art hanging system installed, plans are being finalized to hold a juried art show in the refurbished space.
