Two of KGH’s longest serving volunteers were celebrated recently. Marion Atack and Shirley Abramsky have been at KGH for 50 years and 55 years respectively. In a special event, the two received their service milestone pins and a special thanks for their decades of service to our hospital.

Marion Atack has been a volunteer for over 50 years. She originally was a coffee cart volunteer and then became a gift shop cashier. She has supported the Auxiliary in fundraising efforts.

Shirley Abramsky has been a volunteer for over 55 years. She has held many roles during her tenure. She was the Gift Shop Convener, Cash Draw Chair, President of the KGH Auxiliary and Co-Chair for the Auxiliary Millennium Fundraising Committee. Shirley has also always supported the Christmas Harvest Bazaar and the Family Services Area. She continues to be an active member of the Family Services committee.
