The KGH Auxiliary had another busy year running services at our hospital, including the Auxiliary Cafe, Gift Shop and Tuck Shop. As a result, the group made another huge donation to our hospital at it’s annual general meeting this week.

This year’s big cheque is worth just over $386,000 and it was presented by KGH Auxiliary President Sandra Fletcher (centre) to Elizabeth Bardon, KHSC VP of Missions, Strategy and Communication (left) and David O’Toole, Chair of KHSC Board of Directors (right).

From here the Auxiliary membership will decide where they would like to direct the funds. Last year for example, they opted to purchase two neuronavigational systems to support patients in need of brain or spinal surgeries.
