As an academic teaching facility, we have strong partnerships with Queen’s University, St. Lawrence College and many other teaching institutions, including The Michener Institute, the University of Ottawa, and Laurentian University. At any given time, there can be upwards of 800 students in the hospital pursuing their respective educational training requirements.
For more information on our teaching and training programs for physicians, please contact the Queen’s University School of Medicine.
Medical Students interested in learning more about the medical residency program should contact the Queen’s University Post Graduate Medical Education Office.
Learning opportunities inside KHSC are not limited to direct patient care as we often facilitate training for professionals in areas such as Human Resources Management and Hospital Administration.
