There will be many things to consider and decisions to make. Would you like to have an obstetrician, family doctor or midwife act as your pregnancy care provider? What kind of birthing options are you considering? How would you like to manage your pain during childbirth? No matter what the answers are to those questions, we are happy to support you in meeting your wishes.
Your primary care provider will determine when you need to be referred to KHSC for care. Since our highly trained teams can support both low and high-risk deliveries, you may be referred to KHSC if you develop complications during your pregnancy. Whatever your needs are, we have the staff, expertise and facilities to support you.
