Prehospital, resuscitative, and organizational aspects of trauma care.
Dr. Evans is an Emergency Physician, Trauma Team Leader, and RACE Team physician with the Department of Emergency Medicine at Queen’s University. He completed an FRCPC residency in Emergency Medicine at Queen’s University and a Trauma Fellowship at the University of Toronto before joining the department. He recently completed a Masters of Evidence-Based Health Care program at the University of Oxford. He is the Resident Research Director for the Department of Emergency Medicine and is the Medical Director for the Canadian Hospitals Injury Reporting and Prevention Program (CHIRPP) program, KGH and HDH sites.

Dr. Evans is currently involved in several projects related to traumatic cardiac cardiac arrest, the study of a regional trauma bypass protocol, and injury epidemiology.
