The latest phase of Kingston General Hospital's new wayfinding strategy is now rolling out on levels 0 and 1 of the hospital. The colourful new directional signs are beginning to replace the old grey and white ones throughout our buildings.

The signs, along with the colourful walls around the hospital, are key parts of the strategy to help make it easier for patients and families to navigate our halls.

“We’re already hearing from patients and families that the building is looking better and it’s easier for them to find their way around,” says project lead Erin Eardley.

A team of patients and staff will review the work once it is complete and make any suggestions before the rest of the project rolls out to levels 2 through 10 later this fiscal year.
