When it comes to mentors, it's hard to beat our partners from Georgia Regents Health. Not only are they recognized as being world leaders in Patient- and Family-Centred Care, but they visit our hospital each year to talk about its value and check in our progress.

Last week, Georgia representatives Bernard Roberson, Roslyn Marshall and Dr. Walter Moore were here for two busy days. They met with our Patient Experience Advisors, physicians and residents, and staff from our programs, departments and services. They also took tours of the hospital, observed interprofessional rounds on Connell 10, and held sessions in the Burr 1 Conference Room where staff and some of our regional partners talked about how Patient- and Family-Centred Care is growing fast in their areas.

“Things are a lot different than when we first arrived at KGH four years ago,” says Roberson, Administrative Director of PFCC at Georgia Regents Health. “Staff across the hospital are excited about engaging with patients and their families and that is an inspiring thing to be part of. It made us feel very proud of the people of KGH.”
