At KHSC our interprofessional orientation for new care team members provides the opportunity to learn from, with and about other health professionals. The session objectives are to cultivate closer collaboration between professions, expand networks and enrich knowledge to prepare our new employees to deliver quality care for our patients and families.
The following steps and information will assist you in successfully completing your orientation:
- Review the Learning Guides and Policies in preparation for skills during orientation
- Print the Self-Appraisal Competencies and Checklists and sign when completed
- Completed tests, competencies and checklists are to be forwarded to your respective Clinical Learning Specialist or Professional Practice Leader. Your Clinical Learning Specialist / Professional Practice Leader will confirm which Learning Guides and tests are required
