The Centre Cup coffee kiosk in the Cancer Centre has just gone through a transformation. It has now reopened as a new Tim Hortons location. The switchover brings the company’s beverages and baked goods to the lobby of the Burr wing for the first time, including coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cappuccino. The usual on-the-go soups, sandwiches and other snacks are also available.

“Customers have been letting us know they would welcome a Tim Hortons in this busy and bright area of the hospital,” says Janet Fiset, Manager of Retail Food Operations. “It’s a long walk to the main lobby so people are quite excited about this change.”

The new Tim Hortons counter is the brand’s third location inside KGH, joining the popular locations in the Abramsky main lobby and the Atrium on Davies 0. The staff and hours at the Cancer Centre location will remain the same as before.

It will be open for business from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
