Keynote Speakers
Dr. Doris Grinspun is Chief Executive Officer of the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario (RNAO), the professional association representing registered nurses, nurse practitioners, and nursing students. She will be speaking about RNAO Best Practice Spotlight Organization, NQuIRE, and nursing order sets. She is the founder and visionary of RNAO’s internationally renowned Best Practice Guidelines Program and a leading figure in Canadian and international health and nursing policy. Yehudis Stokes is a PhD student at the University of Ottawa and a Registered Nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa. She will be speaking about trauma-informed care. Yehudis’ PhD research is focused on defining and measuring the core trauma-informed principle of ‘psychological safety.' Her primary research efforts aim to support health care services (including mental health care services) in becoming trauma-informed. Please see Yehudis' full bio.
