UHKF launches their campaign to raise funds for Kingston hospitals

Keep your eyes peeled for new billboards, banners, and posters around our hospital. The University Kingston Hospitals Foundation (UHKF) has just unveiled its latest big campaign to support KGH, Hotel Dieu Hospital, and Providence Care.
It’s theme is “Extraordinary people. Innovative health care.” to highlight the world-class care we provide as well as our commitment to excellence, innovation and leadership in health care. The campaign is aiming to raise a total of $65 million and $35.5 has already been committed by donors.
The funds will go towards supporting our needs for equipment and technology, education, research and more.
Major areas of focus include: surgical suites, emergency and urgent Care, diagnostics, labour and delivery, specialized ambulatory care, long-term care, research and staff education.
“Health care is about helping people. We all have the opportunity to be extraordinary and support innovation,” says Susan Creasy, UHKF campaign chair.
