Kingston General Hosptial President and CEO, Leslee Thompson helped kick off this year's Accreditation Canada survey process by introducing the surveyors to our executive team on Monday morning.
The four surveyors and an observer will be at KGH for the next few days and they will be visiting program and service areas all over our hospital. These tracer visits will be flexible and will be aimed at gauging our performance against the Accreditation Canada standards and Required Organizational Practices.
Just before they wrap up their visit to KGH the surveyors will hold a special debrief for all staff to share their preliminary report.
